When I was only two weeks old on a very dark dismal and stormy night, I became separated from my mother and 3 siblings.

I cried and cried but my mother never came. I was very wet, cold and scared. Just as I was about to give up, I was rescued by a human who took me into his home.

Once inside the home I was dried,made to feel warm and given some yummy warm milk but it was very scary because there were two puppies in the home. I had never been that close to any puppies before.

Being so tiny, no bigger than a rat, I had to spend my time in a cage because Foxy the Fox Terrier wanted the eat me. Fortunately as I grew bigger, I was allowed out of the cage. Foxy is my best friend and she protects me.

Dida the Jack Russell was very friendly and allowed me to climb all over her and played games with me.

The humans were not sure if they would adopt me so they just called me Kitty and that became my name. Klepto was added after I started to bring my humans socks, underwear, beanies, gloves and the occasional shirt as gifts.
